Has Clipchamp introduced a new file size limit?

I've been making a series for YouTube which involves piecing together different videos into one for the final cut. Up until now I've had no problems with uploading videos to the project but today it started saying there is a 4gb limit for these videos. Why has this suddenly become a thing? Clipchamp is the video editing software I feel most comfortable using and this limit had the potential to seriously affect my series as the videos I upload to the final project are around 11gb each.

I don't know if the paid version would allow for bigger files to be uploaded, it doesn't specify.

Apparently, the limit is back. I just tried to save a file to my computer. I read the previous posts and I have to wonder how it is Microsoft has no problem saving my file to my hard drive in a place I can't do anything but play it, but if I want to save it to MY hard drive where I can access it and then upload it to YouTube when I'm ready all the sudden the file can't be viewed and errors out when I try to upload it.

When I look at Upgrade, it tells me nothing about the limits associated (much less many simple technical aspects people need to know to upload creations, nor do they offer suggestions for the type of extension they prefer to make the files more condensed without lessening the quality), which for me is the main reason I would not pay for a premium product. If you are going to market a product as being "easy" for people to use, these are critical aspects they need to know in deciding a purchase. When Microsoft keeps changing their limits, it invalidates all the people who have previously made content on using the product. As someone researching where my software dollars go, I don't want to get involved with a product I can't depend on. Especially one where rendering and uploading to the internet takes so long.

I ask this with no malice. Please do better Microsoft. You're a tech giant. You are capable.

Awesome! Now work can resume on my series 😁

Just hope the 4gb limit doesn't come back!

Ok thanks, really wish they hadn't made that change as it's had a significant impact on my series. Might have to look at other options for video editing software if that new limit stays in place.
