Powerpoint shape Subtraction not working properly for circles

Hello,

if i want to subtract a rectangle from cirle it doesnt work as it should.

I am working on the Microsoft 365 Powerpoint Desktop App.

I tried reparing the Office Apps, then i reseted them and then i reinstalled the Office 365 Appsuite.

    Def. send a bug report but you can sot of fix by starting with a real (filled) circle and setting the fill to none then adjust the line weight and then merge shapes.

    I don't think anybody in Redmond would change that. But you can try to send a bug report via feedback hub.

    Verwende anstelle des Ringes zwei Kreise und schneide in zwei Schritten.

    Use instead of the ring shape two circles and cut by two steps.

    Das ist kein Fehler, sondern in der eigenartigen Spline-Organisation von Hohlformen begründet.

    danke für deine Rückmeldung.

    Die Darstellung ist etwas unintuitiv.

    Ich konnte durch deine Information, den Kreis so anpassen, das der innere Ring auf der Form liegt und die Formen sich subtrahieren ließen.
