Thank you for the information. Here are some ways on hot wo stop the updates.

Method 1 – Disable Windows Update Service

    1. Press Win+R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.

    Scroll down, find Windows Update.

    Right-click → Properties.

    Set Startup type: Disabled.

    Click Stop, then Apply.

Note: This usually blocks updates, but sometimes Windows will re-enable it after big resets.

Method 2 – Block Update Servers via Registry

    1. Press Win+R, type regedit.
    2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU (create keys if missing).
    3. Create a DWORD (32-bit) value: NoAutoUpdate = 1.
    4. Restart PC.

Note: This may cause damage to your system, do it at your own risk. I suggest to continue with updates and fix the current problem. If you stop the upcoming updates your computer will not receive any security patches in the future and might be at risk.

You should look at fixing windows as updates are a part of using Windows 11.

There is an option in Windows 11 Settings > System > Recovery > Fix problems using windows update and select Reinstall now. That might help.
