Does Exchange Online support BIMI verification?

Just came from a provider who support's BIMI and it appears Microsoft just has support for their CRM. Is that true?

Besides the verification, BIMI puts my company logo in the users inbox, instead of a generic symbol.

    Hi Bruno Gabriel

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum regarding BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) support in Microsoft services.

I’d like to share that while Microsoft does offer support for BIMI, this is currently limited to Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys. This functionality is currently limited to marketing emails sent through that platform. It allows organizations to display their verified brand logo in supported inboxes (such as Gmail and Yahoo), provided that BIMI records and a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) are properly configured.

Microsoft supports BIMI as a sender, but not as a receiver.

    • As a sender: BIMI is supported through Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys, which allows organizations to display their verified brand logo in supported inboxes (such as Gmail and Yahoo), provided that SPF, DKIM, DMARC, a BIMI record, and a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) are properly configured.
    • As a receiver: Microsoft does not currently support BIMI rendering in Exchange Online or Outlook. This means logos from BIMI-compliant senders will not appear in inboxes hosted by Microsoft.

I'd also like to share a referral article as below:

BIMI support - Dynamics 365 Customer Insights | Microsoft Learn

Additionally, Exchange Online and Outlook which handle standard business email do not currently support BIMI. This means that even if your domain is fully authenticated and BIMI-compliant, logos will not appear in inboxes for emails sent via Exchange Online.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to let me know in the comment section if you need any further details.
