Why am I getting this error in word and in excel?

Word & Excel has run into an error preventing it from working correctly. Ecel/Word will need to be closed as a result.

    Since you are seeing the option to Repair Now, you may already have noticed that that option often fails.

    Instead, try the following: Exit all Office applications and run an Online Repair from Windows Settings. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b .

    Note that an Online Repair usually includes a reinstall of Office. Therefore, before you begin, make sure that you can access your account at https://account.microsoft.com/services and that Office is associated with it.
