Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi stephen Hughes,
Good day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. In regards with your printing issue, since emails can be print from your iPad but not from your PC, this may means that the issue is on your local PC. Try these solutions below and let's see if it will solve the problem.
For Desktop Outlook app
A. Test windows printing for quick check before proceeding to other solutions. Try printing anything else like PDF, Word, Excel, webpages etc. If only Outlook wont print continue to following solutions
B. Reset you Outlook print styles.
- Open Outlook.
- Go to File > Options > Advanced.
- Click Print.
- Click Define Print Styles.
- Select Memo Style.
- Click Reset.
- OK > restart Outlook.
- Try printing again.
C. Disable hardware graphics acceleration
- Outlook > File > Options > Advanced.
- Check Disable hardware graphics acceleration.
- Restart Outlook.
D. Test with Microsoft Print to PDF.
- In your Outlook, choose Print.
- Select Microsoft Print to PDF.
- If this works > your printer driver is the problem. As a solution reinstall or update the printer driver from the manufacturer’s site, not from Windows Update.
For Outlook in a browser
A. Try using a different browser.
B. Clear browser print / cache data.
- In the problem browser: Open a Private / Incognito window
- Log into Outlook.com
- Try printing. If it works there, clear cache or disable extensions specially ad blockers.
C. Use the browser's print instead of the Outlook's.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Jhun
