How do you add in the traditional Voting button options in the new outlook? I cannot find it anywhere in the Options ribbon. If it is supposed to be there in the Options ribbon, how do I add that option to the ribbon?

In new Outlook for Windows, the classic “Use Voting Buttons” command on the Options tab is not available.

To get traditional Approve/Reject or Yes/No style voting, use classic Outlook instead. In classic Outlook:

  1. Open a new email.
  2. Go to Options > Use Voting Buttons.
  3. Choose Approve;Reject, Yes;No, Yes;No;Maybe, or Custom.

New Outlook currently focuses on add-ins and the Forms-based Poll experience rather than the legacy voting-buttons UI. The ribbon in new Outlook can be customized (via More options > Customize), but the legacy Use Voting Buttons command itself is not exposed there.
