Hello,

I submitted a quota request for Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6 through Azure AI Foundry approximately 20 days ago, but I have not received any update or approval.

Details:

  • Subscription: Microsoft Azure Sponsorship (Founders Hub)
  • Request ID: 4<removed PII>
  • Model: Anthropic Claude Opus 4.6
  • Submitted: ~20 days ago
  • Current status: No response

I also raised a support ticket, but was informed that my Developer Support plan does not cover technical support tickets and was redirected here.

This delay is impacting my development timeline. Could someone from the Azure AI team please look into this and provide an update on when the quota will be approved?

Thank you,

Arbaz

    Hi Arbaz Abid

Just wanted to quote from official documentation that if you have credit based Sponsored account, you might not be eligible for quota provisioning in supported regions (East US2, West Central US, or Sweden Central)

It needs a valid billing account as mentioned in pre-requisites. They make exception in few sponsored accounts but cost would incur from associated credit cards not credits.

" Sponsored subscriptions that only use Azure credits. Note: If you have an account with a credit card on file, the credit card will be charged instead of Azure Credits."

Note: I have shared the application id for review to internal team already.

    Thank you.
