URGENT — Only Global Admin locked out by MFA — Cannot create support ticket or access tenant

Hello,

I urgently need help.

I am the legal owner of the domains:

  • deweerdtgroup.com

dynamicstorylabs.com

I am also the ONLY Global Administrator of the Microsoft 365 tenant connected to these domains.

My account is completely locked because MFA is enforced and the Microsoft Authenticator app is unavailable. Every recovery and login flow redirects back to MFA approval, making recovery impossible.

There are NO other administrators in the tenant.

I have already spent weeks trying all available recovery and support methods without success. I even created a new Microsoft 365 Business account because I could no longer access support through the original tenant.

The problem is that I still cannot create a proper support ticket or get direct assistance.

I urgently need:

A Microsoft support ticket/service request to be manually created for this case

Direct contact or callback from a Microsoft support/recovery agent

Escalation to the Microsoft Data Protection / Tenant Recovery Team

I can provide:

Domain ownership proof

DNS verification

Company registration information

Billing/payment proof

Identification documents

Any additional verification required

This is a business-critical issue affecting active Microsoft 365 business infrastructure and domains.

Please help escalate this case urgently.Hello,

    Hello Brändon

I just want to gently clarify that this is a user-to-user support forum, so moderators unfortunately don’t have access to internal Microsoft systems, tenant data, or escalation tools. This means I’m not able to create support tickets, trigger backend recovery processes, or connect you directly with Microsoft’s Data Protection team from here.

May I know the exact process you followed when you mentioned “I still cannot create a proper support ticket or get direct assistance”?

    • Were you able to access Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Help & Support?
    • Or did you encounter any errors when trying to submit the request?

Please also take a look at this thread, as the OP had a very similar situation to yours and was able to successfully reach the Data Protection team. It includes the detailed steps they followed: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5785747/denied-global-administrator-access-although-i-am-t

In that case, the issue was resolved by creating a trial tenant and submitting a support ticket on behalf of the locked tenant, which was then escalated to the Microsoft Data Protection team.

Also, have you tried reaching out to Microsoft support via phone? The suggested script is also included in that thread.

One more thing to keep in mind:

Looking forward to your reply. And if you manage to create a ticket, feel free to share the ticket number via private message, I’ll be happy to help you follow up on it.

Note: Please follow the steps in our documentation to enable e-mail notifications if you want to receive the related email notification for this thread.

    Hi Brändon,

Because you are the ONLY Global Administrator and all MFA methods are unavailable, this situation usually requires escalation through Microsoft’s account recovery and Data Protection process. Community forums unfortunately cannot directly create internal support tickets or bypass MFA protections.

However, there are still a few important paths that are typically recommended in cases like this:

    1. Try accessing from:

    a previously trusted browser/device

    the original office/home network

    InPrivate/Incognito mode

Sometimes conditional access or remembered sessions still allow limited access.

Attempt alternative recovery methods Check whether the account still has:

    backup MFA methods

    SMS/voice verification

    recovery codes

    secondary admin accounts

    delegated admin partners

Since you created a new Microsoft 365 Business account, use THAT tenant to open a support request From the new tenant:

    Admin Center

    Support → Help & Support

    New Service Request

    Choose categories such as:

    Account Compromised / Locked Out

    Cannot access Global Admin account

    MFA recovery

    Tenant access recovery

    Clearly state:

you are locked out of the original tenant

there are no additional Global Admins

this is a business continuity issue

Include proof of ownership Microsoft support will usually require:

    domain DNS verification

    billing/subscription proof

    invoice/payment details

    company registration information

    government-issued ID

    Request escalation specifically to:

    Data Protection Team

    Tenant Recovery Team

    Identity Support escalation

If normal support flows keep redirecting to documentation: Use:

    https://admin.microsoft.com/#/support/requests

    or:

Microsoft 365 Business phone support for your region

    and reference that:

    tenant access is completely blocked

    no admin access exists

    MFA methods are unavailable

Unfortunately, due to security policy, Microsoft support agents in public forums cannot manually disable MFA or directly restore tenant access publicly, but verified recovery cases like this are typically handled through protected escalation channels after ownership validation.
