This problem started on April 11, 2025 on multiple machines. It was not failing before with the same version of Support Assist.

Same version of Dell Support Assist still works fine with other Windows 11 Builds. The problem started on April 11, 2025, only with Canary Build 27823.1000.

This is from another user, but my Reliability Monitor looked like this for 2 months and I even uninstalled and reinstalled Dell Support Assistant several times even with their updated version and still had the Dell errors, so I no longer keep the Dell Support Assistant installed permanently.

This is what my Reliability Monitor looks like today, No Dell errors!!

I never had any problem with Dell Support assist, till April 11, and only on Canary Build 27823.

MS changed something that is causing that specific exception code 0xc000027b.

I also opened a case with Dell.

I was having lots of Dell errors on the Reliability Monitor for about 2 months and others on Reddit and other sites were also having these errors. I deleted all Dell programs and now only have an occasional error showing in the Reliability Monitor usually from the Store. I only reinstall the Dell programs after a clean install to update drivers and Dell software and then delete the Dell programs with no more Dell errors in the Reliability Monitor. The following article gives more detail.

The current install version is 4.6.3.23467.

Tried to install newer version 4.8.2.29006 but failed with the same error on Canary 27823.1000. 🤷‍♂️
