I am trying to access The Villages Website at: ***link removed*** and it is giving me the 403 Forbidden message. I have visited this site many times so why would it happen now? Is it something or a setting on my end or is this a problem with their website?
Hi Mickey,
I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.
Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. I am happy to help you today.
A 403 error on a website means you’re not allowed to access the page or resource you’re trying to reach.
This usually happens if you don’t have the right permissions, if the website owner has restricted access, or if there’s a misconfiguration on the server.
It’s a bit like knocking on a door and being told you can’t come in, even though the house is open for others. If you see this error, contacting the website owner is recommended. Sometimes, if you restart the router, an IP address change also helps.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us. Good luck!
