Forbidden access to Windows Store with proxy

I installed Windows 8 successfully. My connection to Internet is provided through a proxy (by my university). So, every site or resource that I want to view is reachable only by passing through this proxy. I configured Internet Options with the correct parameters and I also used the command netsh winhttp to make the proxy configuration work globally. All applications from desktop side connect to the Internet. Also the "full-immersion" apps connect to the Internet properly. The problem is that I can't get access to Windows Store. It says that I'm not connected to the Internet, but it's note true. I did not installed antimalwares of third parts. How can i resolve? Thanks.

P.S. Excuse me if my English is not perfect.

Here are some suggestions I found.

In a command prompt execute the following commands

    netsh

    winhttp

    import proxy source=ie

    Another suggestion:

    1. Open "Local Group Policy Editor"
    2. Navigate to "Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Network Isolation"
    3. Open "Internet Proxy Servers for Metro Style Apps" and set the value to your proxy server address like 172.16.0.1:8080.

This still does not solve the problem.

Even I have to connect to the internet using a proxy server in my university (In addition to that, there is one time network authentication required when connecting to the internet)

Some of the metro apps work - news, weather, etc. But these apps require constant authentication (username and password).

The microsoft store app does not work at all and gives the error message which says that I'm not connected to the internet.

    What should I do?

The problem is not that Modern UI apps can't access to Internet. Every native app works properly with the proxy configuration: only Windows Store (and now, I see, also the Windows Features Installation tool) results offline. Anyway, I can't disable the proxy because that's the only way I can get a connection to Internet (I am a guest of the university and they give me Internet access only through a proxy).

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that the Modern UI apps are not working when you are using proxy settings.

Using proxy connection, Modern UI apps would not work normally due to the proxy settings.

I would suggest you to use the Modern UI apps without proxy settings.

Follow the steps to disable the proxy connection.

    a. Open Internet Explorer.

    b. Click on tools and select Internet Options.

    c. Click on Connections.

    d. Click on LAN Settings.

    e. Remove check mark next to proxy server.

    f. Click on OK.

    g. Restart the browser.

Reply back with results. I would be glad to assist you better.
