How do I remove "dll-files.com fixer" from my computer?
My computer was not running smoothly and I received a link to "try out" the dll fixer at dll-files.com fixer. I tried it, did not solve my problems, and I attempted to remove it through the regular Control Panel app. Although it was supposed to have removed it, it continued to appear on my desktop, and it shows on the Control Panel list of installed programs. I have continued to remove it and I get an error message stating that it cannot be removed because it "doesn't exist." How can I get rid of this program once and for all?

This could work for other anoying programs like : Driver Support

"My computer was not running smoothly and I received a link to "try out" the dll fixer at dll-files.com fixer. I tried it, did not solve my problems,"
These "fixer" programs are common on the internet and it can be difficult to
remove them. As with various malware they can 're-birth' themselves by various means.
Many are nothing other than an extortion racket. "We found 152 problems on your machine. Buy the
full version for $$ and we will fix all those (non-existent) problems".
Once you have the full version installed you may (if you are lucky) be able to actually uninstall the problem they "fixed" - the one they installed with the "free" version when they "cleaned" (hacked into)
your registry and hid a .dll file somewhere that causes the pop-ups you can't get rid of.
Sorting out problems is a by the numbers thing. There is no one fix. You have to go through a process
of question and answer, and often have to try numerous suggestions before finding a fix that works
in your circumstances. If you are not prepared to do this you are better off taking your machine to
a repair shop.

1. What is the exact error message you are getting?
2. Are you able to uninstall and reinstall any other program normally?
