There's some strange noise on the right side of my Laptop.

I bought the Lenovo Ideapad 330, AMD A9, I have been using it for like 2 weeks now, and there's some strange chirping noise on the right side of my laptop. I'm quite sure that it is the HDD and the noise is continuous and is irritating. I have been told that this could cause serious problems. So, what can I possibly do here?

Hi Ashaf

If this noise is happening when you are not playing audio, if you have recently purchased that laptop, you should return that immediately to the seller and demand a replacement, it is more than likely a hardware fault . ..

Hi,

During the warranty, the manufacturer is full functioning of the device so I would suggest you to take it to the nearest support center of Lenovo. If needed, ask for an RMA.

Nothing we can do here but advise you to run a hardware test if it's available. Take it to a professional if you are not technical. You can lose your data if it's a bad drive.

Try this: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/videos/vid100757
