Same thing on my side. Mind you it's a Laptop that is managed by my IT department and I need the Admin rights to get to more advanced settings. That might be where the power management options are. So still an issue for me. Tried it yesterday and after 20 min, the sound stopped.
AirPod Pros Keep Cutting In and Out
I have a pair of AirPod Pros that I've had for a couple of weeks. Every time I connect them, the audio is fine but then a few seconds later the audio keeps cutting in and out. I have tried everything from disconnecting to reconnecting them, updating my Bluetooth driver, and trying everything I've found online but nothing works. The AirPod Pro's work perfectly fine on my phone, but not on my computer. And it's not just YouTube that I'm having the problem with, I tried using Spotify and Netflix with my AirPod Pro's and the audio keeps cutting out there as well. It's extremely frustrating, so if someone could help me I would appreciate it a ton.

2021-03-17T10:12:31+00:00 I found a solution for this. I had the same issue, but I noticed that at work I don't have such problems.. This issue was occurring only at home, especially when I was using internet connection (loading some pages or downloading files)
Bluetooth and WIFI 2,4 can interfere with each other.
Thankfully my router supports 5ghz, so I've connected and have no issues right now :D !
Remember that it may not work when you have multiple devices connected to 2.4 ghz who are using the WIFI connection. The best way is to minimize connections to 2,4 ghz :) Hope that would work on yours side as well ! :D

2021-01-30T10:51:00+00:00 The AirPods Pro have a new functionality in the last version of firmware. They can be connected to multiple devices at the same time, to reproduce the audio where you play. It is something like dynamically changing devices. It works quite well between the iOS ecosystem.
Still sometimes it crashes with the mac. It works perfect with iPhones. If you are using the Mac with the Airpods and you play a sound on the iPhone, the mobile has priority and starts using the headphones automatically.
I supose that this system goes outside of the usual Bluetooth protocols. It is possible that this operation causes problems in other devices that do not know this protocol. Surely windows is not doing anything strange, just using them as a normal headphones. However, the headphones try to listen to the other familiar devices around them (like your iphone) preparing to switch if necessary. This behavior causes breaks in the connection with windows.
Like I said, it's just my guess. As a general rule, many headphones with these characteristics work perfectly on mobiles, however they behave strangely on PCs.(I also think that the Bluetooth of the PC is much worse than in the mobiles. They are under much more interference and in my experience they perform worse)
It would be good practice to make them easier to use on PCs. With the Samsung Galaxy Buds, I had to modify things about the channels, and they are visualized as a double device ... well, that's not practical for people, much less if they are standard users.

2020-07-15T02:02:34+00:00 The AirPods Pro are Bluetooth 5.0.. What version of Bluetooth does your Wi-Fi adapter provide?
Bluetooth runs very close the the Wi-Fi frequencies and can be interfered with. Is your environment overcrowded with other wireless devices?
Do you have any other Bluetooth devices and do they operate normally?
I really enjoy my set since I can even use them while I am mowing the yard and with the noise cancelling, I don't even have to turn the volume up.. If course, you can turn the noise cancelling off for testing..

2020-07-14T23:15:28+00:00 I'm using a laptop (a Lenovo Ideapad 320 to be exact).
And yes, I do have a LAN connection.
