direct play & directx 9.0 on windows 11

i installed gta san & when i opened it says you need directplay & directx9 to run. i just want to ask will i get any window problem if i enable direct play? and if i install directx from windows website.

i saw this youtube video doing the stuff. https://youtu.be/rOsb3EBE_S8 it will not wreck the laptop right?

few months ago while installing game i got blue screen error which was scary as hell.

os win11

ram 8gb

hp laptop

    Rest assured installing DirectX 9 form the link below will not harm your system in any way, and also if you need to install DirectPlay, that also will do no harm, it will only be loaded when you play older games, otherwise, Windows will not use it, and it is perfectly safe.
