Hi,

I'm IT Admin of the company. I have a company laptop managed by Group Policy & Intune. When I go to Windows 11 Settings > System, I cannot see Notifications settings in there. Could you advise which Group Policy or Intune configuration that disable it? So that I can bring Notification settings back. Thanks!

    Good Day all,

    I had come across this post while i was having the same issue. My company uses Intune and just recently we notices Notifications disappeared after we we migrated On prem AD policies to Intune. We messed around a bit and found out that if you have Profile set up for Device restrictions and have gaming blocked under control panel there it causes the Notifications section to disappear.

    I hope this helps some one out here.

    I did manage to get Notifications settings back with a workaround of sorts.

    Open gpedit and do the following;

    Browse the following path:Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel
    Double-click the Settings Page Visibility policy on the right side.
    Select the Enabled option

    Then enter showonly:notifications

    Click Apply and Ok. Make sure that you fully exit gpedit

    Now when I open Settings I can see Notifications.....but nothing else of course. Well, at least I could fix the notifications issue I was having. I then reversed the changes above to get back to how it was before, i.e. all settings bar Notifications.

    That worked perfectly, not sure how or why gaming affects the notifications tab. but at least its an easy fix

    This has also worked for me. The only change I made is on the "Settings Page Visibility". I entered show:notification. After that, all the other settings as well as the notification settings were visible and useable. Thank you, @Chris Royle:)

    Open gpedit and do the following;

    Browse the following path:Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel
    Double-click the Settings Page Visibility policy on the right side.
    Select the Enabled option

    Then enter show:notifications

    Click Apply and Ok. Make sure that you fully exit gpedit

    Or you can simply use show:all in "Settings Page Visibility" policy,

    it applies immediately and will bring back all missing settings page.
