Microsoft store not working tried everything!

Hello, I am having issues with the Microsoft store and through my research, I have been able to boil it down to two issues but I have gotten not further.

I cannot open apps tied to the Microsoft store which includes looking at images and using my audio jack as the Real Tech Audio Console is on the Microsoft store.

I've tried

  • Resetting and repairing the app
  • Using commands to manifest the store/ Install it
  • Using the Xbox installer to download the Microsoft Store.
  • Redownloading the Microsoft Visual C ++
  • Going to tier 2 Microsoft tech support
  • Tried downloading the Microsoft store off of Microsoft's own link, but I got a pdf instead. What I've found was that using the Application file (.exe) in the program files shows me what is causing some issues. I was missing three .dll files which I successfully replaced however a new error came up giving me this text and code "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)." When I tried to use commands to get the application I got an error that AppXManifest.xml doesn't exist.

I am at my wit's end with this and wiping my computer clean and reinstalling Windows is off the table for me.

It's worth noting that I'm using an Acer Nitro 5 laptop if that helps.

Please help I have no idea whats going on and I need the store back.

Please delete or rename all three DLLs in the System32 directory.

Now, launch Store via the Start menu and post the error message, if any.

If Store doesn't launch and no error message is shown, reinstall Store using Option 1 here → Can't reinstall Microsoft Store - Microsoft Community. That should resolve the issue in most cases.

Here is the Screenshot of the Windows Store app, since the store never responds when I try to open it I had to resort to trying its .exe file.

    Image

The three dll's I had to replace are as follows

    "sharedlibrary.dll"

    "mrt100_app.dll"

    "vcruntime140_app.dll"

I simply put them into System 32 because I searched System 32 and they were missing and their corresponding error messages disappeared. However, that's when I get the error (0xc000007b).

    Version 22h2 (OS Build 19045.3324)

and yes this is the same person my accounts are a bit mixed up.

Hi, good day! I'm John DeV a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

If the issue still persists, please try performing an In-place Upgrade. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while your personal files, settings and installed applications will not be removed.

**Few things to check on the PC

Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting

Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade

Kindly let me know if this helps or if you have any further concerns.

Download the media creation tool(Click Download tool now) and save it to your computer.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

Open the tool and select Upgrade this PC now.

Make sure to select Keep personal files and apps.

It might take some time to install Windows 10. Your computer will restart a few times, Make sure you don’t turn off your PC.

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

Which app causes this error, and can you post a screenshot?

Mention the names of the three DLLs and how you replace them.

Also, run winver.exe and post your OS build number.
