Hello Taeles.
Thanks for your reply.
Based on your description, it seems that the problem lies with the graphics card. I hope replacing the graphics card will solve your issue.

Hey everyone, this community has rocked helping me out in the past, lets see what you all make of this :)
So for about a month my computer has been randomly freezing/black screen/reboot after 10 seconds. The mini dmp files were always vague with identifying hardware being pretty much any part of the whole dang computer. Well this past weekend I got tired of microsoft pestering me about win11 so I said heck with it and did the upgrade. Credit to win11, the dmp file and errors in event viewer are much more 'interesting'.
So in even viewer I am getting thousands (13241 in the last hour) of this :
A corrected hardware error has occurred.
Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)
Primary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x1:0x0
Secondary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x0:0x0
Primary Device Name:PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A70D&SUBSYS_50001458&REV_01
Secondary Device Name:
Can't find it now but there is a variation of the above that appears right at the moment of a computer crash. Identical to the above but "A un-correctable hardware error has occured."
I only have my 4080 nvidia plugged in to one of those ports, other two are empty so i assume the card is bad. possible too, powersupply went early january and 50/50 odds damaged the nvidia. But then again google results suggest VEN_8086 is a intel device name code. ?
But here is a link to my dmp file:
That mentions the express port as well but it also specifically names genuineintel in its report. I'm scratching my head here. Is my cpu bad, is my gpu bad, are both of them bad? The motherboard and powersupply are both brand new replacements post surge incident. The cpu, ram, nvme's and the gpu are pre surge incident.
Any help reading this dmp file, any suggestions at all are very much appreciated

Hello Taeles.
Thanks for your reply.
Generally, SSDs are less prone to errors (if there are errors, it's more likely that the entire hard drive is damaged).
However, you can still use hard drive testing software to check the health of your SSD. It is also possible that there are damaged files, as
indicated by the DUMP file pointing to a driver file. This could be due to driver corruption or potential hardware damage.
If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Hello Taeles.
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
Regarding to your information I assume that you computer random crahsed.
According to the DUMP file, the error is related to the GenuineIntel.sys driver, which is usually associated with Intel processors and CPUs.
Therefore, it should be related to the motherboard, memory, and CPU. I suggest you contact the motherboard manufacturer for assistance
in updating the BIOS and chipset drivers. After that, if the issue persists, you may need to further determine which hardware is causing
the problem through a process of elimination.
If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Progress report.
1, Installed a intel chip with integrated graphics, left display port on graphics card, errors remained.
2, moved display port to motherboard, completely removed graphics card, errors vanished.
3, Tried moving the graphics card to a different pci express slot. Booted up once properly, then crashed, then refused to let me past password login screen, graphics in background were full of bad lines, audio seriously grainy.
Current state : I did a fresh install of win10, updated all drivers for everything to latest and greatest, computer is running smooth. Nvidia is not installed with this fresh install of win10. Replacement graphics card on the way.
Thank you very much for the response. I’ve confirmed the bios for my motherboard is correct and my other motherboard drivers are up to date as well. I currently have a non integrated graphics intel cpu in the computer but have a integrated one coming in today. When its installed I will first see if that fixes the errors, if so it was the cpu. If that dosent fix the errors I will then pull the gpu and use the cpu for graphics, if the errors go away it was the gpu.
If neither test fixes the errors then I’m going to start reinstalling all the mobo drivers and bios.
Is there any chance this is the windows installed nvme hard drive faulting and corrupting files? 99% of the freeze/reboots only happened when surfing the web. Its only as of yesterday with the lockup/crashing started that it was occuring in games.
