My computer keeps shutting off in iRacing. I have done a ton to fix it, but it is still happening. Here are the three errors now in Event Manager

I did not have this problem until about 1 month or 2 ago. I am thinking it is USB related as I have 2 powered hubs, as I use this rig for Sim Racing. It is an AMD 5900x, Asus Dark Hero MB, RTX 4090, and a Platinum 1000 watt power supply.

I have updated all bios, and software

Disabled C State in Bios

Renewed my TPM keys

I just now removed the ability for windows to suspend my USB power in device manager

I have done a fresh install of iracing. \

I get the three errors when this happens... it is not usually under load, it is after a race when going back to main menu, or after qualifying. Machine just goes black. I feel like it is the Sound Blaster X5 amp which plugs into USB that is the issue, so I may disconnect that next.

I have run Memtest, and other stress tests.

Here are the errors

All then also have the Kernel Power 41 issue with bad shut down.

Any help is appreciated I have lost so much iRating due to these shut downs at horrible times.

Thanks

    Dear Justin Muntean

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

First of all, thank you for providing detailed error messages and system configuration. Based on what you've described, the computer shutting down frequently in iRacing can be related to a number of factors, including hardware issues, driver incompatibility, and system settings. Here are some possible solutions and troubleshooting steps to help you solve the problem.

    1. Check Hardware Connections

USB Devices: You mentioned that it may be related to USB devices, especially the Sound Blaster X5 amplifier. Try disconnecting all USB devices, especially active hubs and amplifiers, to see if the problem persists. Then connect the USB devices one by one to find out if a specific device is causing the problem.

Power supply: Make sure that your power supply (1000W Platinum Power Supply) is able to support your hardware, especially under high load. Although you mentioned that the power supply is adequate, under extreme loads, the power supply may cause problems. You can check the stability of the power supply by using a power supply test tool.

    1. Update and check drivers

Graphics card driver: Make sure your RTX 4090 driver is up-to-date, you can download the latest driver from NVIDIA official website.

Motherboard drivers: Make sure all motherboard drivers (especially USB controller and chipset drivers) are up-to-date, visit the ASUS official website to download the latest drivers for your motherboard.

Audio drivers: If you are using Sound Blaster X5, make sure the audio drivers are also up-to-date.

    Some speculation:

The error message you mentioned, lsass.exe reporting an error system security or authentication related, has something to do with your Sound Blaster X5 amplifier USB hub having an anomaly in the security detection.

    Best Wish
