Sharing Shifts

I have published my shift schedule, but some of my staff cannot see that previously open shifts are now filled. I don't want to republish the schedule every time I make a change as they get spammed by notifications. Questions:

  1. If all my shifts show as shared, why so some of my team member see shifts as being open when they have been filled?
  2. Is it because each time I change a shift I share that day only with the affected person to avoid everyone getting messaged?
  3. How do I make sure all my staff can see shift changes when they log in without them getting a notification each time I update a shift?

    Hi MH223:

No, when you modify any item in the shift schedule, you will need to share it again with the team.

If you set one open shift (isn't available), you are changing the shift schedule, in consequence, you will need to share it again.

    Greetings.

Thanks so much for replying so quickly Sergio. Are you able to explain why some of my team cannot see the open shifts? When someone picks up an open shift, I share that with the affected person, and only share that specific day. I had presumed that others would then be able to still log on and see that this open shift is now not available. Is this not the case?

Hi MH223, I'm Sergio, it's a pleasure to help you.

    Answering your questions:

Every change in the shift must be shared again to your colleages.

You cannot manage the notification setting per user, each user can manage it turning off the e-mail notification.

If you need more details about the sharing shift, see the section "Share a schedule with your team" from:

    Greetings.
