I have tried to copy paste an excel table with formatting into MS-Teams chat, But I was not able to paste it with formatting. It is pasted with table and data only (not pasted with formatting)

That's not what the guy asked. He wanted to know how can you copy/paste some excel data with formatting INTO teams not FROM teams.
Bitmap and jpg work to some degree but the person receiving the image of a table cannot easily use the data (ie copy-paste). Many errors are introduced by manually re-typing from an image into another spreadsheet. I cannot believe there isn't a Paste Special option or that the default going from one Microsoft application to another isn't maintaining the full Excel format.
I couldn't agree more. Hey Microsoft ... please add that to the enhancement list.

I know this is crazy way to get this done. Maybe it may help someone who is scratching their heads... so if you copy a table from teams chat into excel, it gets copied over as a single line text rather than a table. I found a hack to get this done.
