Weird Blue Thumb Up Showing up during Teams meetings

Hi all

Recently I started noticing that a weird, unknown blue thumbs in what appears to be a thought bubble started randomly showing up during Teams meeting.

It is super annoying, distracting and comes across as weird.

What is this? How do I disable it? I am not using any filters, backgrounds, emojis, etc. This only happens in Teams and nowhere else.

    I spent the better half of the last 3 weeks trying to figure this out as well because it happened on one of my meetings too! Turns out it's part of the Beta test for iOS 17 Beta 6. If someone has this downloaded on their Apple device it will show up in Teams meetings! Has nothing to do with Microsoft or Teams and everything to do with the current version of their Apple device. :) Hope this helps clear things up for you!

    I had the same thing. Actually, you can do a lot more :) though I understand you'd be wanting to disable them. Information is found here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212950.

    Thanks for the answer. But it isn't helpful and vague. I'mm not necessarily experiencing issues. Just trying to figure out what this "feature" is and how to disable it.

    I had the same issue today but I am on a Windows machine, so it is not specific to Apple OS.
