How to organize Contacts in Outlook 365 version 2021

I am currently using MS Outlook 365 on my Windows 11 PC. I have two (2) issues with my MS Outlook 365.

First, in an effort to clean up my Contacts, I had to delete all of them no more than 50 contacts at a time because there is no way to delete all of them in one fell swoop.

Second, after exporting/importing my new Contacts into Outlook 365, I discovered the mapping is not consistent with any other email programs. Example, some of the email addresses are hyperlinked but none of the website URL's are hyperlinked. Instead, ALL website URL's have been placed in the Notes section. And no phone numbers can be designated my country and country code because they too are in Notes. Again, everything just populates into the Notes section.

I have tried every possible work around and nothing helps so I hope I have overlooked something if not Outlook is pretty useless to me.

I searched every possible source for Mapping instructions and none of them speak to Outlook 365 version 2021.

I tried to go 100% Microsoft but these problems compel me to use the more intuitive Google Mail and Contacts.

Hi, I'm Diane and will be happy to help you today.

First, in an effort to clean up my Contacts, I had to delete all of them no more than 50 contacts at a time because there is no way to delete all of them in one fell swoop.

Are you using Outlook on the web (or Outlook Pre) or Outlook desktop software that is installed with Office?

Outlook on the web and Outlook Pre are basic applications.

Outlook that comes with office can delete all - Ctrl+A to select all then delete. It also supports field mapping.

You imported from the same file you exported? If so the field names are correct and you won't need to use mapping.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
