For me, at least, it discourages contributions.

Good day @CharlesKenyon-8472

I cannot examine your specific case with this information, but there might be several reason why someone cannot post in the forum. For example.

(1) There is an automatic spam filter engine and I assume that publishing all these message does not help the system to mark your user as whitelisted :-)

In the case that your message was marked as problematic then you simply need to wait a bit until one of the moderator will go over the marked messages and decide which was a mistake and approve these (I have just done this for example a few minutes ago and cleaned all the list we had now)

(2) Issues can be related to browser side and cache of the cookies for example.

According to your description about "sign in and out four times" my feeling is that this is your issue. You can try to clear all your browser history and cache and cheche if this solve your issue.

(3) The forum interface is best developed and it cost a lot of resources from the client side (notice how slow the page is loaded and you can get more information using the browser F12 developer tool). There is an option that using poor network part of the

Even when the page is loaded then you can notice multiple objects which were not loaded well. Notice in the following screenshot of the developer tool that we have multiple errors 303 and errors 302 for example.

Developers today do not usually provide the same quality of work as developers did 20 years ago when computers were much weaker and had to develop websites optimally. Today many developers are relying on the fact that users' computers are powerful enough to make repairs and adjustments on the client side at the expense of the client side resources. This works usually for most users...

It is possible that a client with less resources or more work will not perform well and refreshing the page for example will solve the issue temporarily. Try to check if this issue happens only on specific machine or even if you use a different (maybe with more resources) machine.

It is a good idea to have a version of the forum for phones and small machine with less resources. You can raise this as a feedback :-)

I am working from a laptop with sufficient resources. This is the only forum in which I have such problems.

Military accounts are frequently disabled (due to the zealous nature of security) but more often than not, it is because a site is hit enough times for the IDS (Intrusion Detection based on the count of hits to a particular website) to flag the site. Forums get lots of hits for understandable reasons. When that happens their IDS puts a hold on the access and then after a few days it disappears, more often than not because the folks using that site get frustrated and go elsewhere and the hits to the site are reduced enough that the IDS removed the site from a list or blocked sites somewhere in its archives.

The new browsers have similar IDS running though the concept is different. My recommendation is to go to the settings and click the "default browser" under settings, and add the ip address of your forum if you think it is a browser issue. That should force the browser to trust the site and not kick it back at you. Sometimes it is something as simple as a JAVA item trying to run in the background and the browser is set to disallow that to run, or it could be something else. The white-listing of the IP can help you get around that.

I believe I am repeating what is stated above but hopefully presenting it in another way.
