Samsung apps are missing in samsung ativ smart PC Pro

Question

Recently I bought samsung ativ smart PC pro from Dubai. For some reason I got blue screen & I had to reset the windows. After restoring windows 8, some of the preinstalled samsung apps are missing from windows store & PC.

I tried below actions, still no solution.

1. Reinstalled windows 3 times, samsung update also done 3 times
2. PC given for service, they reinstalled it for 4th time & said its ok. (no improvement)
3. Contacted S agent online, he remotely tried to check the PC. He said reinstall windows!!!! otherwise contact windows support.

Now I dont know, what windows support is going to direct me to some other company XYZ?

Could some one take the responsibility & resolve the issue, instead of throwing the ball here & there.

I'm having this same issue. It seems if you upgrade your Samsung 500t to Windows 8 Pro the Microsoft store no longer recognizes the device as a Samsung 500t and hence the option for the Samsung specific apps are no longer an option in the Windows Store. This makes no sense as I should be able to upgrade my device and still have all of the original apps available in the Windows store.  This seems to me to be a Microsoft issue, so what's the solution besides recovering to the standard version of Windows 8?

I tried all the steps given in the above link. Still the issue is not resolved. If you check the microsoft support site for similar kind of question, you will find below link.

Please go through all these comments in this thread, exactly same issue. Still not solved by any of your support team. Just give me the app download link (manual download).

The last comment in the thread is also not working.

If you are searching apps from the app store, then, it could have happened that the apps might have been removed from the app store.

You can refer to the link to check for the different reasons behind the issue:

pre installed samsung apps like snote, scamera etc.

when i enter microsoft store, i can see samsung picks. after reinstalling the windows it has gone totally. this is the only place where you can find samsung apps...

 when i try to install through website. it takes me back to store and it says this app is not available.

samsung told me to contact windows, ur telling me to contact samsung. someone pls try to solve the issue.

I would like to gather few information on this issue to help you better:

1. Are you referring to apps from the app store or the preinstalled apps on Windows 8 missing on the computer?
2. Which Samsung preinstalled apps are you referring to when you say "Samsung apps"?

If you have performed a reset on the computer, any app that came with your PC would be reinstalled, but, all other would be removed from the computer.

To get back apps provided by the Samsung manufacturer while installing Windows 8 on the laptop, you need to contact Samsung.
