Hello....I saved a Visio drawing last night and when I opened it today it was only one page and was blank. I went into properties and to restore a previous version but nothing was found. It also did not back up to my One Drive. It is also saved on my D: drive and not my C: drive due to C: drive is full. This is another issue. Is there any other way to recover this file?

    Hi JBush777,

Sorry to hear that you meet the data lost problem.

Although not all lost data can be retrieved, we try our best to provide all possible suggestions to help you:

    1. Please check whether you turnrd on the Autorecover function via File>Options>Save, if turned on, it might be possible to get your file back when you re-open the app again.
    2. If you enabled the Windows backup and the media or drive that your backup is saved on is available, you can restore a file from a backup. For more information, you can refer to this article: Backup and Restore in Windows 10

Additionally, in order to prevent the same thing from happening in the future, my suggestion is to save your documents to a cloud path like OneDrive. Because if you save to OneDrive, you will always keep a backup of your important documents, and files. Not to mention it has version history. In case of emergency, you will be able to restore the data from OneDrive.

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn

    Thanks Jazlyn,

I did have autosave on but was not able to recover the file.  And my C: drive is completely full and the file did not back up to One Drive. I have a computer repair tech coming out on Tuesday to assist in getting all issues fix properly. Thanks for the reply!
