Surface Studio 1 (16GB) - Can't change Color Profile

I recently got a Surface Studio and I did a fresh install of the latest Windows 10 1809 from the Windows.iso. Everything works great but the Color Profiles. The 3 Standard Profiles are not listed in Settings, only if I add them manually in the color management list. But if I switch them, there is no change. I guess, they do just not affect the monitor... what can I do? For work, I need to get sRGB-Color Profile.

Sorry that did not resolve the issue. Support for Surface Studio will ask you to

wipe and reinstall from a downloadable recovery image

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surfacerecoveryimage   and see if color

profiles work properly after doing this and if yes, then using Windows Update to

bring your Surface up to date. (Alternatively, use the latest recovery image

available and verify color profiles and then go to

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and select Update

Now and see if profiles still work properly).

    Hello Barb,

    thank you again for the help.

    I did the recovery as you described, but after 44% of the recovery, the following screen comes:

    When I restart now, there is no OS on the hdd.

    There comes a notice, that the studio is looking the network for an OS:

    PXE over IPv4, later PXE over IPv6

    The upper error-Message should have told the user why it failed.

    At my office I own an other Surface Studio and this one works like a charm.

    But the new one I bought makes trouble since Monday, when I got it...

    Any other Ideas?

    Hello Barb,

    thank you for your reply.

    Sadly, it dit not work. I did all your suggested steps.

    Here are some screenshots (its german...)

    This is how my color management window looks like:

    If I check "use own settings for this device" and I add the 3 "surface-....icm"-Files, they appear in the Action center. I can change them, but there is no color change.

    Any other ideas?

    Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54311 and

    download and run SurfaceStudio_Win10_17763_1805006_0.msi

    after you reboot after installing the MSI, check the color profile again and if

    still missing:

    Check display settings/action center=No Color Profile

    1.    Install VS++2017 X86 from

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

    2.    Install VS++2017 X64 from

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

    3.    Reboot

    4.    Check display settings/action center=Color Profile should now be present

    does this resolve the issue?
