Our organization has the same problem. I went in Teams as an org admin and blocked the app. However, it still invites itself to our meetings. Microsoft needs to block this bull#### now. If users want it, they can download it. It should NEVER have been automatically implemented.

    Hello good day!

To totally delete read.ai from your organization and from accessing Team meetings, here's what to do. I know you’ve probably already blocked it from the Teams Admin portal, unfortunately, that didn’t work for me either. So here's what to do.

    1. Sign-in to Microsoft Entra ID or Azure Portal, and locate Enterprise Application or search for Enterprise Application in the search bar.
    2. On the Enterprise Application page, search for Read Meetings or read.ai. You will see a list of results, select the read meeting.
    3. Once on the page, click on the Security tab drop-down and select Permissions. This process will help you see users who have granted consent to the read.ai application.
    4. Close this, and on the same left-hand tab, select Manage, then select Users and Groups. From this page, you will see all users, select them all and delete them manually. (There's a script for this if the users are much)
    5. Next, go to Properties on the same Manage tab. You will see Delete. Before deleting, copy the homepage URL and block it from accessing your organization through the Security portal or any you wish. Now click Delete to totally remove the app.
    6. Use the same URL copied to go to the Teams Admin Center and block the URL from accessing Teams.

After this, you should be all set. I did it, and it worked for me. I hope it works for you and anyone else seeking the same solution.

    Thank you.

I've been dealing with this issue in my organization since one month ago.

We blocked read.AI in Teams Admin center, in web-filtering and in our anti-spam solution.

But this still doesn't prevent third parties that are coming to our meetings, from inviting read.AI agent into the meeting. If participants are not aware and admit read.AI to the meeting, it will be there recording everything. And this is still a problem we try to avoid. For now the quickest solution is to kick read.AI out of the meeting by writing 'opt out' in the chat.

I am in the EU area and I believe read.AI is mature enough to get supervision from the Data Commissioner's office. Their business model is very intrusive and it totally ignores privacy.

So please everyone please keep posting your issues here so we can have proofs to share it further with authorities.
