Data in sheet tabs and columns white out recently

Recently, I encountered a problem that the data text in the cells are whited out. When I scroll up and down, the cells that were outside the screen appears "crashed" as the image I attached above.

The well known recommendation, to turn off hardware acceleration in the Options > Advanced > Display, doesn't seem to be supported in newer versions of excel.

I have already tried reinstalling Excel and the latest version of the graphics driver, but could not solve the problem.

I wish I could get some help.

    Dear All,

We have received report that this issue is identified and resolved as Service Incident OP396850.

Admins can check this SI from Service Health Dashboard with link https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?source=applauncher#/servicehealth/history/:/alerts/OP396850

    Final Status:

We've reverted the offending update and have received confirmation from some users that the impact is remediated.

Users that were impacted may need to force an update of the Excel desktop client for full service restoration.

To fix the display issue in Current channel Version 2206(15330.20196), please click File>Account>Update Options>Update Now to deploy the update.

If clicking Update Now says your Office is up to date, you can manually revert Office back to the previous version Version 2205 (Build 15225.20288): **** How to revert to an earlier version of Office (microsoft.com)

Please do let us know if this works for you.

We look forward to your reply. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Sukie | Microsoft Community Moderator

    Dear LEE HYUNKYU

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

First, for the situation you encountered, we do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

Please try the following troubleshoot steps to check the possible reason for this behavior:

    1. Use online repair tool to repair your Excel then to check if the behavior can disappear in your end. For your reference: Repair an Office application (microsoft.com)
    2. Open Excel in safe mode the to check the behavior:
    • Make sure Excel is not running. Close any open Excel files.
    • Press the Windows + R keys to launch the *Run.*Or click on the Search icon in the taskbar. Type "run" and select the Run app from the suggestions.
    • In the Run app, type "excel /safe" in the textbox. This will not work if you miss the space character before the forward slash.
    • Then click on OK.
    1. Use clean boot to check if other programs caused this behavior, please refer to How to perform a clean boot in Windows (microsoft.com)

Besides, we would like to collect more detailed information about the situation you are experiencing so that we can have further investigation:

    • May I know when did you get this behavior in Excel? What action did you do before the behavior happened?
    • Can you give us a screenshot of your Excel product information? Go to File>Account then gives us a screenshot.
    • Do other users in your organization have the same behavior?

We’re looking forward to your reply and will continue to help you all the time!  If there are any misunderstanding or unclear, You can post back in your free time.

    Sincerely,

    Stacey | Microsoft Community Moderator
