VLC Media player has terrible DVD video quality

Is there another free DVD playing app? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling VLC and my DVDs are unwatching. Only part of the video shows as it plays and it is blown up huge. I went to their website and nothing I tried helped. I am using an HP laptop with Windows 10.

Thanks!

    Hi lilykate3,

I personally don't know of any but I'd be happy to help you with your existing issue. When you're playing video from a DVD, and it's blown up, could you go to Video in the menu bar on the top, go into Zoom, and set it to 1:1 Original, Half, or Quarter?

Let me know how this goes.

    Hi lilykate3

Could you also try changing your screen resolution to see if that helps?

    Try using a higher resolution.

There are several alternatives to VLC Player you can check out:

    XBMC Media Center.

    RealPlayer.

    KMPlayer.

    UMPlayer.

    DivX.

    BS.Player.

    GOM Player.

    Media Player Classic Home Cinema.
