This PC can't be upgraded to Windows 10

I have been having issues updating to Windows 10 previous version and tech support has offered me no working solutions. However, I actually made progress on this update. That was until the manual install gave me the prompt:

"This PC can't be upgraded to Windows 10

Your PC settings aren't supported yet on this version of Windows 10. Microsoft is working to support your settings soon. No action is needed. Windows Update will offer this version of Windows 10 automatically when these settings are supported."

What can I do to update my computer? I've been fighting with this for a while now and I just want to actually update my computer.

Disconnecting the 'net after downloading/verifying, but beforeinstalling worked perfectly the first time.

Gotten resigned to the idea that Microsoft's replies are formuliac and useless.

Not seeing this on any of my 5 Windows 10 PCs, but apparently running the update offline when not connected to the internet helps.

Had the same problem upgrading from 7 Pro to 10 Pro. Rang Microsoft UK Support, the guy remoted in to my PC, fixed some files, and it worked. Credit to Microsoft there.

    Hi,

We have known the update is blocked is being shown this message.

The block is in place because of various compatibility issues with numerous systems and hardware configurations.

If you’ve received this banner, here is what you can do for Windows Update to show the feature update available notification:

    1.Update your hardware drivers

2.Disable Core Isolation by going to Settings > Windows Security > Open Windows Security > Devie Security > Core isolation details.

3.Keep checking Windows 10 2004 release information page for mitigations and resolutions for Known issues.

Although people report that upgrading offline works, but we do not recommend the same.
