To change from a 32 bit to 64 bit system, you will need to do a clean install of Windows, including a format of your main drive to wipe everything, so make sure to back up data first.

Download the ISO to a USB from here:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

You can select the 64 bit Windows in the options.

Is there a particular reason for wanting to change it to 64 bit? My understanding (from what I have read( is it won't make that much difference and certainly won't make the system any faster

There's no point in installing a 64 bit version of Windows if you have a 32 bit processor. You first need to determine if your PC has a 32 bit or 64 bit processor. Open Control Panel and then System. It will tell you what type of processor you have. If it says 32 bit then your PC cannot be upgraded to 64 bit.

A 32 bit operating system can support up to 4GB of RAM which is what you have installed. To gain any advantage from a 64 bit system you really need to add more RAM, the more the better, and this is dependent on your All-in-One PC having free expansion slots to enable the adding of memory. If you have no spare slots you can remove the 4GB stick and replace it with the biggest your motherboard can support, assuming it's in a socket and not soldered in. Crucial Memory can scan it online and tell you what you have, if/how many free slots you have and how much memory you can add. I've used their scanner before and I consider it perfectly safe.

    Hi sudhirsaha,

    I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.|

To change from Windows 10 32-bit to Windows 10 64-bit you need to clean install Windows, removing the 32bit version.

With the Media Creation Tool, you can download the Windows 10 64-bit and create a bootable USB Drive to clean install Windows.
