View my password
How can I view my outlook password
I have a MS Surface laptop and want to view my Outlook.com email account on my Phone. I need to know the Outlook password. However I cannot find this anywhere on my Surface. I've tracked it down in Credential Manager but cannot find how to reveal the actual password rather than dots. Is there a way to view it.
Thanks

2024-01-23T23:07:35+00:00 Hi Emily
Thanks so much for the speedy reply. Following your instructions I managed to check the password . However the mystery deepens for me anyway as the password is exactly what I thought and is actually what I had originally tried in my iPhone. However it keeps coming up with wrong password . However, you have enabled me to shift my focus from my PC to my iPhone. There is something very odd as I cant get my outlook account in the iPhone Mail app or in Safari (through live.com) but it does work in the iPhone "Outlook" app I've downloaded onto my phone. To make it more complicated I have a second Outlook email which is still working everywhere - PC, iPhone Mail app, and iPhone Outlook app (although I haven't tried it in live.com)!!
But many thanks again for your help as I was thinking somehow the password had been changed without me knowing.
Best regards
Gerard
