That's correct, it takes some time for adapted info to be reflected on the MS team due to caching scheme.

Our HR is wanting to updating all of the employee contact information and we gave him rights to edit them via the Exchange Admin Center or Azure AD Center.
The problem is that it's not updating on Teams. We've tried opening teams on a new machine, application, web browser, mobile. Nothing was showing the updated contact information.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Dnl.Tech,
Thank you for this response!
To verify, Teams grabs the user contact information from Exchange/Azure AD but the problem has to do with the way Teams caches data?
Hi npham98
My name is Daniel. I will be more than happy to assist you.
I'd like to let you know, MS Teams indeed has a caching scheme that is designed for capacity and performance optimization. Some data, such as display names, and telephone numbers, can be cached for up to 28 days on the client-side. Profile photos can be cached for up to 60 days. So Basically the issue you are experiencing is expected.
