how to reset/delete mailbox exchange on premise via m365 (exchange and m365 are synchronized with each other)? I want to reset/delete user mailbox via m365 because exchange can't be opened

    Exchange on-premises mailbox can only be managed from local AD. You could manage Office 365 mailbox (Remote mailbox) from Exchange on-premises, but you cannot manage Exchange on-premises mailbox from Exchange online side.

    If you want to delete it when Exchange on-premises crushed, you could delete this mailbox AD account from local AD, or remove this mailbox from AAD Connector.

    You can also follow this article to recover crushed Exchange on-premises server, then you will could manage this mailbox from Exchange on-premises.

    Thats not possible from 365. If you are syncing from on-prem, any mail-enabled object needs to be deleted from on-prem.
