How to add secondary SMTP address to Distribution List created in Exchange Hybrid environment?

We are having Exchange Hybrid setup with Exchange Online.

Is it possible to add secondary SMTP address to Distribution List created in Exchange Hybrid environment?

We are getting an error while doing that.

Add it to the on-prem group if syncing with AADConnect.

Tried but getting weird error.

"Members can't remove themselves from security groups. Please set the group to closed for requests to leave."

It has been fixed by setting MemberDepartRestriction parameter for Universal Security Distribution Group to CLOSED. This parameter value was OPEN before. It should be CLOSED as you can't use OPEN value for MemberDepartRestriction parameter on universal security Distribution groups.
