convert an employee from a lead to a contact

Question

How do I convert an employee from a lead to a contact. The goal is to have the employee (who is an AE named Amanda Orvin) receive the marketing emails as a “lead” so she is aware of the marketing materials being sent out “by” her. I want to convert the employee from a lead to a contact WITHOUT losing all the activities in her timeline.

The environment I am in is Marketing Lists>**WS See AEs>contacts

What product exactly is this question specific to? You chose Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager co-management as a tag for this question but this is completely unrelated to that. Is this a Dynamics 365 question?
