Seems like your only options are to wait or open a support ticket.
Defender for endpoint integration with Intune
Hello , I see this error in End point manager console Some toggles are disabled and acting as "off" because Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is not actively communicating with Intune for this account. Please check the state of the connection in the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint admin console , appreciate how to get Defender for endpoint integrate with Intune.

2022-09-16T16:36:56.897+00:00 I was having this same issue and this link solved my issue. You need to back to the Defender site and turn on "Microsoft Intune connection" in Endpoint settings.
I turned that setting on and the error immediately went away.
