Azure DevOps. Our company name already reserved as an organization. OR??? What to do?

Question

Using Azure DevOps Services I cannot create an organization using our company name. I get the error "azure devops VS850012: The specified name is reserved: <companyname>".
I have verified no onte of my colleagues has used the name. So it's either a third party somewhere in the world who has snatched it, or it is some setting or configuration we are missing. We have after all an Azure account. Shouldn't our domain name (=company name) somehow be possible to use for us as an organization name in DevOps?

PS. Not sure if this question is correctly filed. I had to select a Tag to post it, and the tags mean't nothing to me.
