Just to clarify a little more: I want my office staff to have access to the SharePoint site. However, I do not want them to have access to the folders in the Teams channel. I have not been able to accomplish this separation using the permissions settings.

Hi @Dawn Kelly ,

As per my test again. In fact, it is not supported to only access to the SharePoint site, but cannot access to the folders in the Teams channel. This is by design. If you want to separate "In channel" and SP Site. I suggested you could create private channel.

Here are the steps to create:

Go to a team you want to create a channel for, select More options > Add channel.

Type a name and description.

Under Privacy, select the down arrow and choose Private - Accessible only to a specific group of people within the team.

Select Next.

Type in the names of who you'd like to invite including guests.

Select Add.
