Keep "AND Path" field collapsed?

Is there a way to keep the "AND Path" field permanently collapsed in MECM? Each time I navigate to a new area, I have to manually collapse it.

    I'm afraid we can not keep the "AND Path" field permanently collapsed, but we can save the search and we can find it from "Saved Searches" quickly.

    Can the ability to permanently collapse this be put in as a feature request? It seems like a very strange thing to have added.
