Cannot connect to QNAP after Aug'22 patching

Since the Aug '22 updates I can no longer backup files to my QNAP NAS device - ping is the only thing that works

I cannot access shared drives or the web front end

There are 3 updates 2 of which I have un-installed and it has not fixed the issue

I can access the NAS with other devices phone and MS surface (unpatched)

Any ideas?

    Hello @Rob Harty

    1.You might first check Event log for any obvious errors : Applications-Microsoft-windows

    2.Make sure workstation services is running properly.
    3.CMD Run net config workstation, check if the workstation service is active on current interface .

    Firstly thank you for taking the time to answer the question

    I found my answer and it was the FW on the QNAP

    I had set it up to deny ip addresses that requested or failed connections too many times

    My own fault - chalk that one up to experience
