Is there any update on this thread? Have you tried @Dillon Silzer 's suggestion?
If the issue hasn't been resolved, please provide some related information so that we can do more research on it.

Some of my mails are missing from my inbox and I need them recovering urgently

1.Are there any similarities in these disappeared messages(such as the received time, same sender or other similarities)?
2.What type of account are you using? Is it an Exchange or IMAP account?
3.Have you ever checked the web for this problem？
4.Could you search out these messages through typing any specific characters in your Outlook client?

Hi,

Yes I tried the suggestion before speaking to Microsoft and it didn't work.

1-no similarities between the missing emails, all the recent ones seem to have gone and then I have a few from August and the none until 2019.
2- it is a hotmail account, the emails are missing from my iPhone and when I log into it on a laptop.
3- I spoke to Microsoft and they were unable to resolve
4- Yes I have tried searching for them and they don't come up

Have you logged in to Outlook.com to check if there is any difference?
Have you ever set up auto archiving?
Besides, how do you access the account on your phone? Is it through Outlook app or other mail app?

Yes, I have tried on Outlook and there in no difference. No I have never set up auto archiving. It is through the iPhone mail app on my phone.

Facing same problem. Due to the fact that we are not receiving some emails of the convertzen in text format and not in html format.

Hi @karen wardle

If they are missing you can:

1) Perform a search for them using Outlook:

2) If you login to Outlook Online at https://outlook.office365.com > You can go to Deleted Items > Check Recover items from the deleted folder as seen below:

Hi, yes I have tried this and it didn't work, the emails don't seem to be there either
