Hi everyone,

The question seems to be simple but it's not.

I want to delete an application for just one device. This device belongs to a device group in required installation. I created a group for device uninstall and put this group in uninstall part of the deployment. It doesn't seem to work.

I have to create an exclusion group into the required installation to get the uninstall done. Not very handy

According to you what's the best practice to do that easyly?

Thank you.

Regards

Hi @julien deroche Thanks for your posting in Q&A.

Currently this is by design, normally moving a group assignment or adding an exclude group(equivalent to stopping the installation process) and then assigning a group to the uninstall setting. Save and restart, after that the app will be uninstalled. The process should be streamlined in the future.

I believe current Uninstall ability is about to mass-uninstall application from all devices it has been distributed before. There is no Uninstall button in Company Portal for user initiated uninstallation, as signle action, unfortunatelly. If you would have specific App Group for App Ver X, you should have problem witht his. By uninstalling mass, you basically are same time retiring that app or that app version and then publish new app with new group.
