This official blog should be help for you to start MAUI project with .NET 7: .NET MAUI in .NET 7 Release Candidate 1.
Upgrading projects from .NET 6 – in many cases after installing .NET 7 you only need to update net6.0 references in the csproj file to net7.0. We recommend closing the solution, deleting your bin and obj folders, and reopening the project to now restore .NET 7 dependencies from a clean starting point.

.NET 7 previews have begun shipping! After .NET MAUI GA release (see roadmap), we will start including .NET MAUI workloads in the .NET 7 preview releases. Until then, .NET MAUI requires .NET 6.

Saw this before. That documentation is before MAUI GA release and has not been updated for months.
I want to know whether or not MAUI (already GA months ago) works with .NET 7 (RC1) now. Searched on internet before but found no clue on this.
The documentation indicated that "we will start including .NET MAUI workloads in the .NET 7 preview releases." Since .NET 7 is already in RC phase and will be GA very soon, I wonder if it works with MAUI now.
For now, when targeting .NET 7 in a MAUI project, some errors show up. There are no clues on how to resolve these errors.
