Azure Iot Explorer Failed to start monitoring

SDK for Embedded C IoT Hub Samples on Windows 31

Hi i have a problem with Azure IoT Explorer (preview) version 0.15.0.0.
I can't receive any telemetry from IotHub. In the IoT Hub overview i see that the number of incomings messages increase.
In the Notification Center i receive the following messages :

Failed to start monitoring device telemetry: Error: "The messaging entity 'sb://ihsuprodamres073dednamespace.servicebus.windows.net/***Hub2/$management' could not be found. Thanks for the answer.
As you will see below at Mr. SandervandeVelde42 i continue to have issues.
Also my communication with the iot hub explorer and the hub is very slow at times.
You can read my comment bellow and also see the screen-prints.

I'm facing the same issue. I assume this service bus referenced by the error was automatically created with the hub but is hosted outside the customer's subscription, so unsure how to manage it or check if it even exists.

Got the error with Azure IoT Explorer 0.14.5.0 and the same error with 0.15.0.0.

Hello @SDK for Embedded C IoT Hub Samples on Windows ,

We are aware of this issue which is only happening with only few subscriptions as we tested recently with other customers from UK region.
We would like to suggest using the custom evenhub endpoint or please use the Azure IoT Explorer version as 0.14.12 version.

You are always encouraged to try the latest version of the Azure IoT Explorer, until this issue is fixed.

I have used the latest version and below is the testing we have done. Please let us know if you are still blocked?

Hi @QuantumCache , I am facing the same problem with my F1- Free Tier located in the Central US region. The other one such as S1 Tier located in the West US is OK.

I have changed to 0.14.12 version but i still have the same problems.
Also when i send c2d msgs , using the official sdk in Arduino i get receivinfg errors.
--- mqtt_message_receive: transport_read() error: errno=119
--- mqtt_process_receive: mqtt_message_receive() returned -1

But the msgs arrived after a while: Data: fdfg , Data: 9/23/2022, 9:38:10 AM - 3456.
Also i see continues disconnections : MQTT event MQTT_EVENT_DISCONNECTED and
subscriptions to receive msg topic :
Subscribed for cloud-to-device messages; message id:61458, Subscribed for cloud-to-device messages; message id:38930, Subscribed for cloud-to-device messages; message id:652.
.
These problems high latency, disconnections, errors i didn't had them before 15 August.
All my system were working fine and the response times was in order of 1sec.
I was able to send d2c, c2d, metods, device twins and also use the dps service and subscribe all devices with pure mqtt, no sdk.
As we plan to provision thousand of devices in the near future, i have tested all these functionalities of IoT Hub.
It seems that the problem comes from inside the IoT Hub somehow.

I just used the new version and works for me...

Can you check with another IoT Hub having:

a specific consumer group within the IoT Hub

No extra routing rules/endpoints

Regarding the consumer group, see the built-in endpoint menu:

Hi Thanks for the answer.

I already have the 0.15.0.0 version.
In the devices > mydevice > telemetry i changed Use built-in event hub > No
Next i put from the

Custom event hub connection string : Event Hub-compatible endpoint

Custom event hub name : Event Hub-compatible name

From my device i send one msg every 10 sec. In the beginning all msgs arrived at the same time.
After a while i saw every 10 sec the msg.
When i switch to the $Default i get the error messages as described.
When i try to return to the Use built-in event hub > No the app has a bug .
The play button is unavailable and the Custom event hub name is empty and also the Custom event hub connection string is blocked i can't delete the string.
