Error Deploying iOS App in VS Mac 2022 -- The Target ValidateAppStoreBundle does not exist in the project

I would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions from anyone who has had and resolved this error. I am trying to deploy an iOS app on .net maui on VS 2022 for Mac (most update version).

Hi @rsbepvb-6343 , For further investigation, could you provide the detailed error message and the environment information(iOS device version, Xcode version, the development provisioning profile and so on)? As noted in the Q&A FAQ: How to write a quality question
In addition, please check if the problem still exists when you build a new empty project and deploy it to your device.

WenyanZhang-MSFT, the error message is as noted above: "Publishing Failed. The Target ValidateAppStoreBundle does not exist in the project."

Xcode version is 13.4.1. I am unable to run Xcode 14 yet since .net Maui has not bee updated to work with the newest version.
Visual Studio for Mac version 17.4 (build 1583). See https://github.com/xamarin/xamarin-macios/issues/15954#issuecomment-1253144541

Error occurs when trying to upload to App store after Archiving from VS. I note that I can deploy to Appstore from the command line by building withdotnet publish -f:net6.0-ios -c:Release and then uploading with transporter.

You are right. At this time, publishing is only supported through the .NET command line interface. For more information, you can refer to Publish a .NET MAUI app for iOS - .NET MAUI | Microsoft Learn. Thanks for your sharing.
