PWAs installed using Edge policy "Configure list of force-installed Web Apps" results in wrong icon

When configuring sites in the Edge policy "Configure list of force-installed Web Apps" the icon is incorrect and there's no way for me to fix it. The icon shows up as

and never picks up the correct icon from the website.

    Hi @Jonathan ,

Yes, it does have something to do with the authentication redirect, or simply a redirect.
For example, I've tested www.contoso.com, which will redirect to www.microsoft.com. If I install Contoso via GPO, it will only display the default PWA icon (the exact "wrong" icon you've mentioned). Because it will go through a redirect to www.microsoft.com. Installing Microsoft, however, displays the correct icon. I have to say it is by design.
