Please i need help on this issue.

Please can you tell me how to send SMS via Teams.

We have Microsoft E5 license

Microsoft does not offer this feature in Microsoft E5 or any Office 365 license. We developed a simple and familiar app to allow a Teams user to send SMS (text) in Teams.

Works in the Android and iPhone mobile app

And all Desktop Teams versions.

Here's a detailed set of instructions for using Teams Texting with Evolve Cellular Voice and Text for Microsoft Teams (SMS)

Teams Texting: Evolve Cellular Voice and Text for Microsoft Teams (SMS)

Accessing Teams Texting:

Begin by locating the Texting icon in the left-hand Menu within Teams.

Sending a New Message:

To initiate a new message, click on the plus sign contained in the purple circle situated at the bottom of the window.

Addressing Recipient and Composing Message:

Enter the mobile phone number of the intended recipient in the provided field.

Type your message in the text box provided for composing your message.

Once composed, click on the purple arrow located below the message box to send the text message.

Managing Message Threads:

A new message thread will populate in the left window, appearing under your Voice and Texting phone number.

On the right-hand side of the window, you'll find the conversation view.

Continuing Conversation:

To keep the conversation going, type new messages in the "send a message" box located at the bottom of the right-hand window.
